Another Israel Houghton First

Israel Houghton has won so many awards (GRAMMYs, Doves, Stellars and Soul Train Awards) that winning must seem like old-hat to him. However, instead of just resting on his laurels, he still likes to lead the pack when it comes to getting his music and his message out there. Last year, Houghton was the first Christian artist with an iPhone Application. This year's first is through iTunes because on August 31st, Israel's new album, Love God. Love People., will be their first Christian iTunes LP. On top of that, Houghton will be the first artist in the history of iTunes with an LP release that includes interactive social network capabilities, a music mixer and Bible verses, as well as the ability to create your own album cover.

Using the iTunes LP "Mixer" area, listeners can remix the song "The Name Of," any way that they like. Users can pull the lead vocals, background vocals, drums, guitar, bass, and keyboard in or out of the song, or create any combination.  Working with the first-ever LP "Create A Cover," fans can make their own Love God. Love People. cover artwork and easily share their creation with friends on their social networks. Add in chord charts and videos, all for only $12.99, and it looks like fans are getting a steal!
